Architecture for the northern light
We design homes, cabins and public buildings in timber and stone, shaped around low sun and long winters.
We design for a climate of long winters and bright summer nights. Every project starts on the site, with the light, the terrain and the people who will use it.

Clients on working with us
“They walked the site with us for a full day before drawing anything. Now the house looks like it was always there.”
Kari HauglandClient, Fjordhuset “Clear fees, clear drawings, no surprises on site. Our builder called it the best documented cabin job he has done.”
Anders VikOwner, Sjøbuene “The workshops with our staff changed the brief for the better. The quiet reading room exists because they asked for it.”
Marte NilsenHead librarian, Bjørkly bibliotek “We wanted to tear out the old log walls. They talked us out of it, and now it is the part everyone touches.”
